This past Thursday night I had the honor of receiving a “Top 50 Over 50” award from Positive Maturity, Inc. I was so inspired by all of the other honorees. What a fun night and so thankful to my husband, Billy and my daughter, Carlyle, for being there to share it with me!

Again, I feel especially honored, as this award specifically recognizes the underlying message of my comedy cabaret show “An Invisible Woman ~ the disappearance and reinvention of a woman over 50! ~ which humorously addresses how society makes women feel invisible after age 50 and celebrates reinvention in later stages of life. ~ I can’t wait to bring it to a theatre near you!

Thank you again, to the Positive Maturity organization for this honor and for all the work you do on behalf of the 50+ community.

Exciting News ~ I am over the flu and so excited to finally be debuting my new comedy cabaret show

“AN INVISIBLE WOMAN ~ the disappearance and reinvention of a woman over 50!”

on my new date, this coming Saturday May 10th!

There will be comedy and music about what it’s like being a “woman-of-a-certain-age” in today’s society. It’s perfect for a Girl’s Night Out, Ladies Night, couples who have been married for a really long time, and anybody who likes to laugh! It’s also Mother’s Day Weekend, and a perfect occasion to bring all the moms and laugh as we poke fun at all the ways we women over 50 are made to feel invisible! So if you are in the Birmingham, Alabama area come “see” me! I can’t wait to see you! ~ Sunny

A funny twist on this classic song ~ with a surprise ending!

I had soooo much fun performing this funny twist on this classic Christmas song! I think we put a really funny and unexpected twist on the ending!
It was part of my show “An Invisible Woman” and our take on this song was a perfect fit. And, I had so much fun working with Shawn!
I know this song has taken a few hits in recent years but I still think it is fun and flirty just as it was intended.
I hope you enjoy this comedic version and that it gives you a laugh and some much needed holiday humor!

Today is International Women’s Day! A time to celebrate and support women of all demographics, and that includes women 50 and over. If you listen to what society has to say about us, this group of which I am proud to call myself a member, you would think we completely disappear once we turn fifty.

So, in honor of this day of celebration I am excited to share with you my newest comedy video spoofing this message. You have to keep your sense of humor about life and if you are a member of this group of very active, accomplished, passionate, involved, smart, beautiful and vibrant women, and are feeling as if you are being overlooked and not really being seen anymore, then this video is for you and I hope it gives you a few more laugh lines! ~ Sunny 🙂
